Supporting Episcopal Faculty through The M. Curtis Young 1954 Faculty Fund

Curt Young '54

Curt Young '54

Curt Young '54 credits The Episcopal Academy for molding his character.. While his college experience was positive and gave him an excellent education, he considers his time at Episcopal most valuable, in terms of academics and character building. What stands out for him most are his positive memories of the many great teachers who taught him at EA.

After meeting with Head of School, T.J. Locke, to discuss the school's key priorities, which include both financial aid and faculty support, Curt was motivated to consider his personal philanthropic goal. Curt's respect for his EA teachers and their commitment to students led him to establish the M. Curtis Young 1954 Faculty Fund through a bequest in his will. This fund will help provide the resources required to attract, recruit, and retain exceptional, forward-thinking faculty to The Episcopal Academy.

Curt's Fund will help our teachers continue to grow and gain new teaching skills, critical steps to providing an excellent education for our students and preparing them for the future. By documenting his gift now, Curt has direct input into how his gift will best help the school and align it with EA's most pressing needs.
